Don Watson

I remember sneaking into my first Nightclub whilst in my last year at school and delighting in the songs of the day from such great artists as Fat Larry, Lonnie Liston Smith, Edwin Starr and Evelyn Champagne King.

It was back then I got the funk soul bug and and was instantly hooked! As time went on I built up a vast collection of 12″ singles and Album cuts, and set up as a DJ working music bars and pubs in the greater London area

I have had to play an assortment of music over the years but my heart lays firmly with Soul, Jazz Funk, Disco Funk and the classics of the day. I jumped at the chance to join RSR and look forward to Friday’s where I can bring back the memories of the music we all know and love.
